Can I still access content from the Virtual Annual Meeting?

Yes, content will be available on-demand through September 30 at virtual.sportsmed.org, including recordings from July 8-9. You must be registered to access educational content. Registration is complimentary and can be completed here.

What is the cost to attend the Virtual Annual Meeting?

AOSSM members will be able to participate at no cost for the core components of the virtual event (live content recordings, plus select recorded poster and podium presentations). Non-members will be able to register at no cost by creating an account with AOSSM. Registration is required to participate and to receive CME. You can register now here.

What’s included with my registration?

Your registration includes access to the live content recordings from  July 8 – 9, 2020 and on-demand content, including podium presentations and ePosters.

Can I access the Live Content nights at a different time?

Post event access to the live content sessions on July 8 – 9, 2020 will be available to all registered attendees for presentations AOSSM has received approval to record and are available here.

I previously registered for the AOSSM Annual Meeting in Seattle; do I need to re-register for the Virtual Meeting?

Yes. All registrations for the in-person AOSSM Annual Meeting which was to take place in Seattle, Washington have been cancelled and refunded. You will need to register for the virtual event separately and can do so here.

Who can register for the AOSSM Virtual Annual Meeting?

Sports medicine professionals can register for the 2020 AOSSM Virtual Annual Meeting. You will need log-in information for your online account or you will need to create a new account to register as a non-member. Additional information can be found on our registration page here.

Will Instructional Courses be available?

Yes. Instructional Courses (ICs) will be recorded separately and made available for individual purchase, with CME, in our eLearning Zone at education.sportsmed.org, as soon as possible following the live content streams July 8 – 9, 2020.

Will CME/CE Credit be available?

Yes. The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Details can be found under under the CME tab, or by clicking here. In addition, Category A BOC credit is available for athletic trainers.

How do I claim CME?

You may claim credit beginning on July 10, 2020. Just log into your account and go to MY AOSSM. Click on the CME tab and follow the instructions to claim your credit.
